Hams Hall 'B' Power Station
Station ‘B’ is one of three built at this location. It is typical of a generation of coal-fired stations built by the company during the period 1939 – 1955. During this period the company built 29 major coal and oil-fired stations. The company subsequently built major coal-fired stations at Cockenzie and Longannet plus a major oil-fired power station at Inverkip.
