A five-star hotel which provided Forte with an elegant addition to its already impressive list of high-class hotels, a number of which were built by the company. Refurbishment of the Grade II listed building included restoration of many of its commanding features including a replica of the Parthenon frieze. To remain in keeping with the character of the existing building, a new wing was clad in Bath stone.
