Situated alongside the Manchester Ship Canal, this unique building comprises three sections: the Air Shard, Earth Shard and Water Shard. These represent segments of a planet blown apart by conflict and fallen to earth in a random pattern. A viewing gallery at the top of the 55m high tower provides panoramic views across Manchester.
