EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES POLICY

The Company supports the principle of equal opportunities in employment and opposes all forms of unlawful or unfair discrimination on the grounds of age, colour, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, nationality, ethnic or national origin, sex, marital or civil partnership status or disability.

We believe that the interests of the Company and its employees will be best served by ensuring that all available talents and skills are given consideration, when employment or promotion opportunities arise.

The Company requires that individuals are treated equally and fairly and that decisions on recruitment, selection, training, promotion and career management are based on objective and job related criteria.

Eliminating discrimination and providing equality of opportunity depends on the commitment of all employees who, therefore, have a personal responsibility for the implementation of the policy.

Direct or indirect discrimination or harassment relating to age, colour, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, nationality, ethnic or national origin, sex, marital or civil partnership status or disability, which is aimed at employees, non-employees or ex-employees is not acceptable. Employees purposely infringing the requirements of this policy will be subject to disciplinary action through the Company’s Disciplinary Procedure.

The Director of Operations is accountable to the Board for the proper implementation of this policy. Employees who believe they are being unfairly treated under the terms of the Company’s Equal Opportunities Policy are entitled to raise the matter through the Grievance Procedure.
