Two of our project teams were honoured with Gold awards at the National Considerate Constructors Scheme Awards 2010.
Awarding Gold to City office development Watermark Place, the judges praised the “exemplary waste reduction” and many other sustainability measures implemented at the site as well as the contribution the project team made to the local community and economy.
Our team at the mixed-use White River Place development in St Austell was also honoured with Gold, the judges praising the project for showing a clear commitment to encouraging women to join the construction industry. Safety “was a top priority” on site, the judges also noting that staff facilities were “of an exceptional standard”.
In addition to the two Gold awards, the company collected a Silver award for West Jesmond Primary School in Newcastle and a Bronze award for laboratory and office development Project Inspire in Hampshire.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme National Awards recognise sites which demonstrate the highest standards of site management, community awareness and environmental practice.
