To raise staff awareness of the company’s Sustainability Strategy and the many successful initiatives implemented throughout the business, a series of presentations has been held at our offices across the country.
The sessions highlight the importance of sustainability to the business, set out our approach and targets, and provide case studies demonstrating the progress we continue to make.
Far from being new to the company, the principles which underlie sustainability have informed our approach since our earliest days.
From the works set up to turn excavated clay into bricks for Glasgow rail tunnels in the 1890s, to the many initiatives implemented across our projects today, finding innovative, more resource efficient ways of working has always been essential to operating a competitive and successful business.
The presentations aim to maximise input from across the company, ensuring that sustainability continues to deliver environmental, social and economic benefits while meeting the needs of clients and helping improving our performance.
