CONSERVATION AWARD FOR EDINBURGH SCHEME

April 20, 2012

The Archers’ Hall development in Edinburgh was honoured with the Edinburgh Architectural Association’s Conservation and Regeneration Award.

Completed by the company last year for Bowmen Ltd, the project involved the refurbishment, remodelling and extension of a listed building and the construction of student accommodation.

The scheme has improved facilities at what has been the home of the Royal Company of Archers for more than 300 years.

The accolade is awarded for a building which has been sensitively and effectively restored, converted, regenerated, extended or refurbished, encouraging the successful integration of the old and the new.
