General Information

The Phoenix Unit at Springfield University Hospital in Tooting, London, is a low security mental health facility.

Delivered through the Government’s ProCure21 Initiative, this 18-bed standalone unit incorporates clinical support facilities enabling the provision of the highest standards of mental healthcare.

A ProCure 21 development, the unit was delivered by Integrated Health Projects, our joint venture with Vinci Construction UK.

Other ProCure 21 projects IHP has worked on include: a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory in Warrington, Hove Polyclinic in Brighton, the East London Personality Disorder Unit in Hackney, a Walk-in Centre and Angiography Unit in Milton Keynes, and a headquarters fit out for the North East Strategic Health Authority in Newcastle.

As a result of the success of this project, the Trust awarded us an additional contract to build the new Wandsworth Acute Unit in Tooting.
