A modern extension was added to form butts for indoor archery practice along one side of a walled garden.
The Archers’ Hall development involved refurbishment and remodelling of a Grade B listed building, the formation of a two-storey entrance pavilion and an extension to house archery practice ranges.
Fifteen predominantly timber-framed two and three-storey units provide accommodation for around 75 University of Edinburgh students.
The development was named winner in the Residential Property category at the RICS Scotland Awards 2013.
The scheme was also honoured with the Edinburgh Architectural Association’s Conservation and Regeneration Award.
