We verified that the integrity of the concrete structure of the North Sea Platform MCP01 would not be compromised during removal of the topsides after decommissioning.

The Cardinal Place development in London stands directly over underground railway lines. Detailed risk analysis and assessment enabled us to install 1.8m diameter piles within 1m of the tunnels.

By analysing the stability of the peat and preparing a soil management plan we were able to ensure the eight turbine Hunter's Hill Wind Farm in Northern Ireland was constructed safely and without harming the peat bog.

During the redevelopment of Birmingham’s Bullring, we carried out monitoring and analysis to allow us to set up a piling rig directly on top of two 19th century railway tunnels. We then sank piles between the two in-use masonry tunnels.

We have assessed tunnels, headwalls and shafts on the London Underground as part of its ongoing maintenance. This has included examining materials more than 100 years old, from tunnels as deep as 48m below the surface.

On the A390 at Dobswall we performed an independent design check for a pre cast concrete arch scheme over the railway. Our finite element analysis confirmed that the filling sequence over the arches could be carried out safely.

We turned the artist's vision for the complex Maylands Gateway sculpture in Hemel Hempstead into reality through sophisticated dynamic analysis backed up by wind tunnel testing.
